Insomnia, Brooklyn, and the Birdcage

Tonight I tried the delicious Insomnia Cabernet Sauvignon. I am by no means a wine connoisseur but my palate definitely enjoyed this bottle. And while finishing this bottle and watching The Birdcage I laughed all alone, out loud (I'm not embarrassed, I'm proud). Gotta love wine and Robin Williams. Separately graces to this earth and combined a magic potion to be taken while smiling.

Mr. Williams always tends to inspire me to look on the brighter side of life. No one can doubt his amazing career, but I truly believe the lines that left his lips wouldn't have sounded as beautiful from any other actor.

The funny thing is I watched the movie Brooklyn before watching The Birdcage. And both, as crazy as it may seem have a common theme: we choose our path. We choose what love we fall for, what sacrifices we make, what future we want. I cried during Brooklyn and laughed loudly and alone for The Birdcage. How beautiful this life is that we fall in love quickly, sometimes comically.

Should I experience any 'Insomnia' tonight it will be because I'm thinking of the crazy, stupid ways we fall in love (maybe I'll watch that next). We fall, sometimes we crash, unless we just keep falling until it feels like we're flying.

I hope more wine-os will try Insomnia (it's an easy sip). And my wish is that everyone experiences that fall, even the crash, but most importantly the flight that encourages you to fight for the life you want.

Goodnight, sleep well fellow wine-os.
